Wireless Computer

A wireless computer is a type of computer distinctive for its elimination of a cord for connection. A wireless computer is activated by a main battery that is recharged through a DC or AC adapter. The wireless computer may be as small as a hand-held phone or as big as a desktop computer. Whatever its size is, the wireless computer may be taken by its user anywhere it is needed.

The wireless computer has many variations. Mobile phones are an example of a wireless computer and they may even be integrated with PDAs or personal digital assistants. The PDA is another type of wireless computer and its purpose is similar to that of a desktop computer. The PDA is small and is often as big as a person's hand. Moreover, most PDAs manufactured these days have computer software.

Another type of a wireless computer is the laptop. The laptop is a miniature desktop computer that is compact and mobile. The laptop may come as a tablet computer which has a touch screen function. On the other hand, the transportable, while also a wireless computer, is not as mobile as the laptop since it is bulky like the desktop computer.

Using a Wireless Computer

The benefit of using a wireless computer is that it does not limit the use of space. A wireless computer may be positioned anywhere a person wants. Also, the wireless computer is smaller than the desktop computer and are capable of being kept in a hand bag or back pack.

Acquiring a Wireless Computer

A wireless computer is available in computer stores and electronics shops. The wireless computer may also be purchased online or from a computer parts and accessories shop.
